redhat enterprise 5 or 6 and speakup

Hi all,

I am looking to go into a readhat system administrator role in the company I work for - and they use redhat and wish to upgrade to readhat enterprise 5 or 6. Does anyone know if redhat include speakup in these versions by default? from what I can gather, redhat enterprise 5 uses kernel 2.6.18, and version 6 uses 2.6.32, neither of which have speakup inbuilt (I think 2.6.37 was the first kernel to come with speakup automatically build in).

Any help would be appreciated.
